Can you provide samples or prototypes before mass production?
Yes, this is our standard practice. We can provide a small number of samples to verify the quality. However, the sample details need to be confirmed in advance. Samples are subject to a certain charge, especially when developing a new watch dial design. We usually ship samples via DHL / UPS / FedEx so they can be received quickly.
How do you ensure consistency and quality control across production batches?
Our factory ensures fully controlled production quality and consistent output through a closed-loop, end-to-end quality control system and stabilized process management. From strict incoming inspection of raw materials and Class 10,000 cleanroom production environments, to 100% self-inspection, cross-inspection, and dedicated quality inspection at every process step, all critical dimensions, printing accuracy, and coating tolerances are controlled at the micron level.
Supported by SPC (Statistical Process Control), key process parameters such as temperature, pressure, and time are monitored in real time to guarantee batch-to-batch stability. A full traceability system enables every dial to be traced back to personnel, equipment, materials, methods, and environment. Each product then undergoes salt spray, abrasion resistance, color difference, and other reliability tests, followed by final 100% inspection.
By eliminating defects at the source, maintaining consistency throughout the process, and ensuring zero defects at shipment, we achieve long-term, stable delivery of high-standard watch dials.
What are the pricing factors for custom watch dials, and how are costs calculated?
If you only have a concept, we will need to charge a design fee, followed by a sample development cost. This includes materials, tooling, machining, and production loss.
Because each design and set of requirements is different, the cost will vary depending on factors such as the type of lume used, whether special materials are required, applied index design, surface finishing of the indices, and other details. Therefore, we evaluate the price based on the final confirmed design and requirements, and this will require some time for us to assess accurately.
How do you handle revisions, design changes, or tolerance adjustments during development?
Unlike many other suppliers, we take a patient and collaborative approach. We are open to multiple rounds of design revisions until you are fully satisfied. Once the design is confirmed, we will strictly follow it to make the tooling and produce the samples.
After you receive the samples, you are welcome to share your feedback, and we will make further adjustments if needed. Only after the samples are approved will we proceed with mass production. At every stage, we carefully follow up and will share photos and videos with you so you can clearly see the progress.
How are the dials packaged and protected for international shipping?
For metal dials, we use foam protection and carton boxes. For fragile dials, we pack them in small metal cases first, then place them in wooden boxes, and finally pack them in outer cartons. We have conducted drop tests before shipment to ensure the dials will not be damaged during transit.
For high-value dials, we recommend purchasing shipping insurance. After shipment, we will provide the tracking number for your reference. Please monitor the shipment and arrange timely receipt of the goods.
